I fish a lot at night on rivers. A quality DEPENDABLE light is a must (also recommend at least one backup). I have tried many many lights, I have box of old lights that did not measure up or quit when I needed it most. A fishing buddy introduced me to the ultra lumens light and it is a keeper. He has used his for almost a year and I have really become dependent on mine. Quality lighting, good fit, rechargeable in the boat if needed. Great for the environment and wallet with recharging capability.

I work on bridges and have probably gone through over 10-15 headlamps, all of which use 2 battery’s and lie about the lumens. This headlamp is the best I have owned, the lumens are true,

When it comes to purchases in general you get what you pay for, but in this case, it’s like wow, there are still good deals out there, this is one of them. I would recommend this to anyone hiking.
